Move Over Serena... These Kids Got Game
Being a teenager has never been easy. But here at Cascadia, everyone wants a piece of you. With millions of dollars at stake and major reputations on the line, these kids live under a mountain of stress 24/7. Especially when they reach the age of fifteen - the make or break year. If they rise to the occasion, stardom and fortune await them in the tennis world. If they fall, the dream is over.
But tennis is only the backdrop to the world of 15/Love. The real stories take place off the court - in the dorms, in the locker rooms, over sodas with the gang at The Open. Here we'll meet Squib, the lanky class clown who harbours a dark secret; Adena Stiles and her lifelong pal Megan O'Conner, best friends off court, worst enemies on; and Sebastien Dube the would-be prince desperate to hide his working-class roots. While Sunny, the tennis prodigy, destroys careers by day but still plays with dolls by night, Cody our latte-swilling-anti-athlete learns that deep down, in spite of how cocky her wealthy jock peers appear, they're really just outsiders like herself.
On the surface Cascadia appears a beautiful campus for the over-privileged, but for the students this beauty is only skin deep. And so they develop "outlets" challenging each other to break the rules- escaping grounds to catch a late show, smuggling illegal junk food, playing midnight tennis just for the hell of it.
And that's the key to a place like Cascadia. In a world where young people from all over are thrust into a hotbed of competition, where loyalties are tested, where compassion is a weakness and hatred is a tool … sometimes the strongest friendships are forged. Because when you're with your enemy 24/7, you never know what might happen.
